Central File Work

The primary project file for a collaborative project is the central model. The master model is the repository for all published updates to the file and keeps track of who owns which components of the project.

Steps to create a central file ->

  1. First of all select and open a file.
Selecting a file

2. After that save the file.

Step 1
Step 2
Naming to the file

Now select options… and give backups of more than 5 and then click on ok.

After that click on collaborate and select the collaborate option in ribbon.

Then choose within your network

After that some of the options will be available in the ribbon like editing requests, collaborate in cloud and Worksets.

Now again save file as a central and then click on Yes.

After that synchronize with central option will be activated.

After that click on Synchronize with central and then click on OK.

Hence the central file has been created.
